At SULM8, we prioritize handcrafted quality over mass production. Because our boots are "Solemates" built to last, our delivery timelines depend on whether you have selected a Ready-to-Ship item or a Custom Batch order.

1. Production and Processing Times

Custom and Batch Orders

  • Production Time: Exactly 14 days from order confirmation.

  • Shipping Time: 2 - 7 business days via our courier service providers.

  • Total Estimated Delivery: 17 - 21 days from the date of order.

  • Note: Personalized and batch orders are handcrafted to your specific requirements and cannot be expedited beyond the standard 14-day production cycle.

Ready-to-Ship Items

  • Processing Time: Same day.

  • Shipping / Delivery Time: 

  • The Courier Guy (SA):  2 - 7 business days.

  • PEP Paxi (Point-to-Point): 5 - 7 business days

3. Independent Service Providers

SULM8 utilizes third-party logistics companies to fulfill deliveries. Please note that SULM8 does not operate these companies, and your delivery is subject to their respective Terms and Conditions of Carriage:

  • The Courier Guy: Utilized for all door-to-door deliveries (Standard, Express, and Same Day). View their service rules here: The Courier Guy Terms & Conditions.

  • PEP Paxi: Utilized for point-to-point store collections. Note: Paxi will only hold your parcel for 14 days at the designated PEP store before returning it to our workshop. View their collection rules here: PEP Paxi Terms & Conditions.

4. Tracking and Communication

Once your order has been handcrafted and dispatched from our Ferndale workshop, you will receive tracking information via:

  • Email: The address provided at checkout.

It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking link and ensure someone is available for door-to-door delivery or that the parcel is collected from the PEP store within the carrier's timeframe.

5. Risk and Liability

  • Transfer of Risk: As per our Terms of Service, once SULM8 transfers the products to the independent carrier (The Courier Guy or PEP Paxi), the title and risk of loss or damage pass to the customer.

  • Address Accuracy: SULM8 is not liable for deliveries to incorrect addresses or PEP store codes provided.

  • International Orders: Customers are responsible for all customs duties, local taxes, and import fees. SULM8 is not responsible for delays caused by international customs processing.

  • Customization Fee: Please note that adding custom branding or specific design modifications adds R250 to the order total.

6. Returns Summary

  • Ready-to-Ship: 30-day return window.

  • Custom Orders: Final sale. We offer a one-time size exchange within 14 days (customer covers shipping).
